William Wayne Brown, 81, of Taft, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Davidson County, Tennessee, on April 6, 1944, son of the late Albert Joseph Brown Sr. and Helen Marie Ledbetter Brown. He retired from Nashville Metro and was a member of Coldwater Community Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Joe Brown and Randell Brown.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Brown; sisters, Sandra O’Dell, Pam (Jeff) Mayo and Penny (Tom) Hargrove; and brothers, Donald (Jane) Brown, Jerry (Vanita) Brown, Terry (Donna) Brown and Clyde (Rachel) Brown.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 12 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, at the Coldwater Community Church with Pastor Allan Shedd officiating.
