James Harrison McWhorter, 93, of Winchester Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Jim was born Feb. 24, 1932, in Memphis, Tennessee.

He served in the Army for 25 years.

A funeral service will be held at Goshen Cumberland Presbyterian Church (1262 Williams Cove Road in Winchester) on May 30, 2025, at 10 a.m. with visitation from 8 a.m. until service time. In addition a Military Graveside service will be held in Huntsville, Alabama, at the Valhalla Memory Gardens (698 Winchester Rd. NE Huntsville, AL) on May 30, 2025 at 3 p.m.
