Donald “Donnie” Floyd Moore, 78, of Flat Rock, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025. He was born on Dec. 23, 1946, in Madison County, Alabama, son of the late William Robert and Geraldine Simms Moore. Mr. Moore graduated from Central High in Fayetteville, Tennessee in 1965, was a veteran of the United States Army, and was a retiree from McLouth Steel in Trenton, Michigan.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents: Erie and Beatrice Simms and W.W. and Sue Moore Walker.

Mr. Moore is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Michele Bowers Moore; daughter, Donna Jo Morrison (David Luna); grandchildren, Cody Lane Morrison and Bailey Alexander Morrison; sister, Peggy (Melvin) Payne; brother, Ronnie L. Moore; and two nieces and four nephews.

Private graveside services were conducted in Riverview Memorial Gardens with Military Honors and Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
