Vernon Willis Williams, 92, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025. Born on June 4, 1932, in Elora, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Curtis Simon and Anna Medley Williams. Vernon dedicated his career as a systems analyst for the Department of Defense and honorably served in the US Army during the Korean War. His greatest joy was tending to cattle on his farm in Elora. A devoted Atlanta Braves fan, he also enjoyed traveling with his wife.

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carole Williams; his son, Stan (Tina) Williams; sister, Elsie Rogers; and nephew, Barry (Janice) Green.

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, May 4, 2025, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home. Burial followed in Elora Cemetery.
