Herman Edmiston, 84, of Roswell, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Emory St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born on May 4, 1940, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, son of the late Ralston Edmiston and Pauline Grier Edmiston. He worked at Hayes Albion Foundry in Albion, Michigan.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Alexander, and grandson, Michael Alexander.

Mr. Edmiston leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Diretha Edmiston; daughters, Catherine Brown and Toni Rapley; son, Herman Edmiston Jr.; step-son: Daniel Conley; grandchildren, Chase Edmiston, Andre Edmiston, DaCarla Couvillion, DaLysa Couvillion, Porche Aguilar; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Regina Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
