Jimmie Allen Thomason, 78, of Petersburg, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024, at Donalson Care Center. He was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on Dec. 11, 1946, to the late Marshall Sanford and Leavy McBay Thomason. He was a Veteran of the US Army and a retired truck driver.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Leota Lynn Thomason Guoladdle; daughter: Bonnie Jean Thomason; step-son, Ricky Brooks; and brother, Richard Thomason Sr.

Mr. Thomason is survived by daughters, Victoria Schroeder and Kim Patterson; son, Michael (Annette) Reeves; step-daughters, Tiny ‘Wanda’ (Jerry) Deason and Leslie Welliver; step-sons, Jerome (Phyllis) Brooks and Joshua Welliver; grandchildren, Nathan Patterson and Cheyenne Reeves; and great-grandchildren, Payton Cole, Amery Schroeder, and Anni Schroeder.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with T.J. Burton officiating. Burial with military honors followed in Unity Cemetery.
