Linda Faye Walker Marrs, 77, of Flintville, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, Nov. 24, 2024, at her residence. She was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on Jan. 19, 1947, to the late Robert Lee Walker and Nannie Pearl Hall Walker.

Mrs. Marrs graduated from Flintville High School in 1964, was a Christian and a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. She worked at Scovill for more than 20 years and later retired from Jack Daniels. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Marrs had a passion for collecting cookbooks and enjoyed all kinds of dishes. Her hobbies included canning, visiting thrift stores and yard sales, and spending Friday afternoons with her grandson, Casey.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Bobbie Laster, Jewell Arnold, Billie Jo Anderson and Jean Garrett; and brothers, Fred Walker and Doug Walker.

Mrs. Marrs is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jimmy M. Marrs; daughter, Penny (Troy) Massey; grandchild, Casey (Montana) Massey; great-grandchild, Ella James Massey; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 29, 2024, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. John Ben Neal officiating. Burial followed in Shady Grove Cemetery.
