Gary Michael Parks, 68, of Flintville, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2024. He was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on June 7, 1956, to the late JW and Opal Parks. Mr. Parks worked for Amana-Goodman Manufacturing for 36 years before retiring. He enjoyed farming and attended Mt. View Holiness Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Janice Cothren and Peggy Chick; and brothers, Randall Parks, Dennis Parks and Tony Parks.

Mr. Parks is survived by his wife of 46 years, Connie Taylor Parks; daughter, Cindy Parks Hill; grandchildren, Austin (Jordyn) Hill and Olivia Hill (Garrett Wright); sisters, Yvonne Shelton, Rachel (Rickey) Taylor and Sammie Pigg; brothers, Harrell (Brenda) Parks and Donnie (Rita) Parks; several nieces and nephews; and his best friends, Stanley Davis and John Amos.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct.24, 2024, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis George officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
