David Tate Andrews Obituary

David Tate Andrews, 31, of Fayetteville Tennessee, passed away on Oct. 22, 2024. The family said it was with deep sadness they announce his passing.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 24, 2024, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Don Pierson officiating. Burial followed in Stewart Cemetery.

Tate was born Sept. 21, 1993, in Collins, Mississippi, to the late Joe David Andrews and Helen Joyce Hollingsworth Burnham who survives. He was a maintenance mechanic at Grammer. Tate was a hard worker, enjoyed spending time outdoors kayaking or riding dirt bikes or motorcycles, and tinkering with his old truck. He was a kid at heart, had a strong stubborn streak, and always lived life to its fullest. Tate was a cherished uncle, dear brother, proud mama’s boy, caring boyfriend, and a dedicated and loving father. He loved his family more than anything.

Survivors include his mother, Helen Burnham and stepfather, Greg Burnham; son, Nolan Blaze Andrews; sisters, Kimberly (Samuel) Francisco, Brittney (Amani Johnson) Andrews; brother, Steven (Samantha) Thornton; nieces and nephews, Aleya, Allie, Aubrie, and Addison Johnson, Luke, Sarah, and Katherine Francisco, and Lyla and Robert Thornton; maternal grandfather, Ralph Hollingsworth, girlfriend, Tricia Bailey; stepbrother, Rance Burnham; and many other extended family members and friends. In addition to his father, Tate was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Barbara Hollingsworth.
