Kay Lynn Talley, 82, of Petersburg, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024. She was born in Marshall County, Tennessee, on Jan. 15, 1942, to the late Claud William and Mabel Lorene Fullerton Beard. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Edward Talley; one son, Joe Lynn Talley; one sister, Brenda Duckworth; and two brothers, Wayne Beard and William Claude Beard.

Mrs. Talley is survived by one daughter, Michelle Lee Talley of Petersburg; one son, Jerry Lee Talley of Petersburg; one step-son, Philip Brent (Kathy) Hubbard of Carleton, Michigan; one sister, Mary Ellen Duncan; two brothers, Larry Beard and Bobby Beard; five grandchildren, Robert Blane “Dude” (Grace) Tankersley, Cody Lee Talley, Austin (Felicia) Talley, Alyssa Nicole Hubbard (Joshua) Pinson, and Philip Brent Hubbard Jr. and eight great-grandchildren, Remi Jo Tankersley, River Lyn Talley, Axel Talley, Reagan Lyn Hubbard, Rhyatt Brent Hubbard, Landon Walker Pinson, Brady Owen Pinson, and Parker Michael Pinson.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024, in the chapel of Gallant–Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Linda Beckum officiating. Burial followed in Old Orchard Cemetery.
