Sandra ‘Mimi’ Lancaster, 66, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, Sept. 27, 2024, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, on Nov. 6, 1957, to the late Herman Lyell and Patricia Gail Gray Lyell.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her bonus son, Christopher Lancaster; sister, Tammy Hanshaw; and brother, Wayne Lyell.

Mrs. Lancaster is survived by her husband, Jerry Wayne Lancaster; bonus children, Crystal (Derrick) Arnold and Terrica Pawela; grandchildren, Travis Arnold, Caleb Simmons, Kristen Arnold and Destiny Lancaster; great-grandchildren, Gracelynn Muddiman and Brantley Muddiman; sister, Tera (Bobby) Dunman; brothers, Greg (Betty) Lyell and Chris (Melanie) Lyell; and special friends, Dwayne and Darlene Pierce, Harold and Trenda Seals, and Randy and Kim Carlisle.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Crawford officiating. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.Tuesday evening.
