Juanita Towry Obituary

Juanita Towry, 94, of Taft, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, at Lynchburg Nursing Center. She was born in Madison County, Alabama, on Jan. 20, 1930, daughter of the late Lula Lee Coats Winford and Rufus Sanders Winford. Mrs. Towry worked for many years as an upholstery seamstress and was a member of the Camargo Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, W. Smith Towry; sons, Wade Towry and Dean Towry; daughter, Faye McNabb; sister: Ramona Maddox (Owen); brother, Jerry Winford (Beth); and great-grandson, Malaki Dixon Ogle.

Mrs. Towry is survived by her daughters, Joan Frassrand (Steve), Lynn Brown (Clayton), Jane Ogle (Timmy); grandchildren, Troy Frassrand (Christi), Bryan Towry (Angie), Phelica Moyers (Keith), Amy Towry, Jason Towry (Evangeline), Jesse Ogle (Morgan), Dustin McNabb, Vince Ogle (Allison), Claudia Norman (Justin), and Clinton Brown (Teela); great-grandchildren, Alyson Purdom, Austin Perryman, Audrey Towry, Ali Oliver (Kyle), Sydney Frassrand, Landon Moyers, Kadence Towry, Carlie Moyers, Novalene Towry, Colt Ogle, Braylon Ogle, Lachlan McNabb, Tinley Norman, Charlotte Ogle, Mila Ogle, Channing Ogle, Tucker Norman, Piper Ogle, Bennett Reese, Paxton Brown, Saylor Brown, Asa Ogle, Kenzi Ogle, Merritt Brown, Britton Brown; and great-great-grandchildren, Brinley Kate Oliver and Krew Oliver.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Gary Wright officiating. Burial followed in Blanche Cemetery.
