Dolores M. Marable, 81, passed away Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024. It is with a profound sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Charles Marable; her parents, William Francis Mahathey and Mattie Lee Boyd Mahathey. She is also preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, James and Gay Marable.

Left to cherish her memories are one daughter, Cara (Tracy) Adams of Athens, Alabama; one son, Jeff Marble of Toney, Alabama; two granddaughters, Bailey (Frank) Noor and Rebekah Adams; one great granddaughter, Kori Reeves; sister, Patricia Megnin; niece: Debbie Armesteadt; and a host of friends that she cherished and loved.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024, at the Friendship Stateline Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Hanback and Bro. Glyn Pool officiating and Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home in charge. Burial will follow in Golightly Cemetery.
