Eva Inell Edwards Obituary

Eva Inell Edwards, 93, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on July 3, 2024 at her residence.

She was born on Dec. 1, 1930 in Madison County, Alabama, to a sharecropper family. Nell was the daughter of the late Jasper Owen Cooper and Archie Boyett Cooper. She was a homemaker and a member of the Maranatha Baptist Church. Nell enjoyed flowers and working in her yard. She loved Christmas and started decorating her house at the end of October each year. She also enjoyed shopping and always found a bargain.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey B. Edwards; sisters, Thelma Cooper and Vera Ruth Eldridge; and brother, Jasper ‘Buddy’ Cooper.

Mrs. Edwards is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Patrick) Lowry and Audrea (Jeff) Weber; nieces, Kim (David) Liber, Tina (Brett) Parsons, Robin (Mike) Griffin, Cathy Ganza, Cindy Johnson and Melanie Mole; cousin, Johnny Ann (Bob) Mitchell; and her dog, Max.

The family would like to thank Lincoln Home Health and Hospice who took great care of her.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, July 8, 2024, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Russell officiating. Burial followed in Moore Cemetery.
