Cecil Donnell Pearson, 90, of Blanche, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at his home He was born Thursday, Feb. 22, 1934, in Gadsden, Alabama to James David Pearson and Willie Pearl Jerrells Pearson.

Mr. Pearson served in the United States Army from 1956 until 1979 and retired as sergeant major.  He enjoyed making Blue Ribbon Wine, farming, fishing, and working on his farm.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 48 years, Linda Taylor Pearson; and all of his siblings.

He is survived by his sons, Michael Pearson (Sherry), Cecil Pearson, Jr. (Debbie), William Pearson (Sherrie), Timothy Pearson (Lisa), and Troy Pearson (Judy); daughter, Meddena Green (Tommy); nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Tyson officiating. Burial followed in Blanche Cemetery in Blanche, Tennessee.
