Jody Harlan Sullenger, 78, of Belvidere, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024, at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital. He was born Oct. 20, 1945, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, son of the late Thurman Jared and Nina Bell Griffin Sullenger. Jody was a farmer and attended Champ Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

He is preceded in death by parents, Thurman Jared and Nina Bell Griffin Sullenger.

Mr. Sullenger is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sullenger; sons, Jody (Debbie) Sullenger II, David (Donna) Sullenger; sister, Marilou Barbeau; brothers, TJ Sullenger, Kenneth Sullenger, Ronnie Sullenger, Dwight Sullenger; grandchildren, Jacqueline Sullenger (Wesley) Painter, Delanie (Philip) Womble; great-grandchildren, Annabelle Wilson, Layton Womble and Pearson Painter.

Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Langford officiating. Burial followed in Champ Cemetery.
