Nancy Louise Thompson, 86, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Dec. 21, 2023, at her residence. She was born on Aug. 18, 1937 in Lincoln County, Tennessee. Louise worked for Goodman on the assembly line.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Clifton and Johnnie Lou Owen Maddox; brothers, Owen C. Maddox, Michael C. Maddox; brother-in-law, Richard N. Thompson.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband, George Wilson Thompson; daughter, Carla Rogers (Bob) Endsley; brother, James Maddox; grandchildren, Logan R. Endsley, Fallon Endsley (Collin L.) Peterson; great-grandchild, Rosalie A. Peterson; brother-in-law, Calvin H. Thompson, Jeff N. Thompson, Larry Thompson, Marvin W. Thompson, Glen Thompson; sister-in-law, Wanda Thompson.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Sonny Moore officiating. Burial followed in Riverview Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
