Linda Nell Ashby, 77, of Petersburg passed this life on Monday, Dec. 18, 2023, at Donalson Care Center in Fayetteville.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023 at Old Orchard Cemetery in Petersburg.

A native of Lincoln County, Mrs. Ashby was the daughter of the late Wiley Henry and Myrtle Inez Brown Currin. She enjoyed watching TV, going for car rides and stopping for a meal and flea marketing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, Bradley Wayne and Brian Ashby and sister, Donna Jean Currin.

Mrs. Ashby is survived by her husband, Wayne Delton Ashby of Petersburg and several cousins. 

Lynchburg Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
