Sally Johnson Copeland passed away Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023, at her residence in Madison, Alabama.

She was born to Wilber Cecil Johnson Sr. and Jessie Lee Holland Johnson of Mulberry, Tennessee. She graduated from Central High School and attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Much of her career was spent in the medical field as a pharmaceutical representative or in a physician’s office. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church while living in Fayetteville.

She is survived by her two children, James David Troutman of Madison Alabama, and Terry Troutman Marsh of Colorado; one grandson, David James Troutman; three great-grandchildren, Camron, Brodie and Emily Troutman of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Philip A. Copeland; and her brother, Eugene Holland Johnson and Wilber Cecil Johnson Jr.
