Herman Gregory passed away Saturday, Sept. 14, 2023, at his home in Detroit, Michigan.

Mr. Gregory was born July 20, 1950, in Lincoln County, Tennessee to the late Ellis and Annie Mae Humphrey-Gregory.

He was educated in the Lincoln County school system and was a graduate of Petersburg High School. Mr. Gregory was also a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Mr. Gregory is survived by four brothers, George (Louise) of Lynchburg, Tennessee; Oscar (Julia) of Columbus, Georgia, James (Barbara) Gregory of Fayetteville, Tennessee, and Robert (Theresa) Gregory of Detroit, Michigan; two sisters, Jane Allen of Lewisburg, Tennessee, and Alene (Larry) Gadson of Detroit, Michigan; a host of nieces, nephews, great- and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Mr. Gregory was proceeded in death by three brothers, Edgar, David, and Willie Ed Gregory and one sister, Martha Ann Wright.
