Bobbie Jean Clark Obituary

Bobbie Jean Clark, 87, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2023, at Lincoln Medical Center.

She was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on Feb. 26, 1936, to the late Emmett and Mary Lou Howell Sullivan.

She was a cook for the Lincoln County School System and a member of Lincoln Baptist Church. If you knew her, you knew she loved to watch her daytime “stories,” always loved to dance, loved to cook, loved yard work, and loved her calico cat, but MOSTLY she loved her family and her church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Rogers Clark; five sisters, Ruth Durham, Ruby Woodard, Stacy Clark, Lucille Crabtree and Jewell Graves and one brother, Charles Sullivan.

Mrs. Clark is survived by one daughter, Judy (Alan) Holmes; one son, Kenny (Vicki) Clark; one sister, Leona Bernard; five grandchildren, Stephanie (Jared) Ellis, Sarah Clark, Peyton (Addison) Clark, Dustin (Carlee) Holmes and Corey Holmes; two great-grandchildren, Kaitlin Ellis and Sadie Ellis.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023, at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Milton Martin and the Rev. Ian Bloxham officiating. Burial followed in Lincoln Cemetery.
