Mary Frances Arnold, 83, of Petersburg, passed away Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

 She was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on June 30, 1940, to the late John Millard Swinford and Mary Gertrude Tucker Swinford. Mrs. Arnold was a homemaker, a former employee of The Flower House and former cashier at Mr. Kwik. She was a member of Brown Teal Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wayne Arnold; son-in-law, Ricky Bunn; sister, Corine Gregory; brother, Charles Swinford; grandson, Terry Lynn Ward; and granddaughter, Summer Arnold.

Mrs. Arnold is survived by her daughters, Debra Bunn and Vicky Arnold; sons, Martin (Debbie) Arnold and Marvin (Cindy) Arnold; sister, Becky Smith; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2023, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Shields officiating. Burial followed in Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens.
