Enith G. Collins, 77, of Hazel Green, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Madison County, Alabama on Aug. 6, 1945, to the late Douglas and Lucille Boles Sharp. She was a retiree of CD Manufacturing and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Collins; sisters, Jean Thompson, Vernell Moorehead and Glenis Pack; and brother, Doug Sharp.

Mrs. Collins is survived by her sons, James Shelton and Melvin Shelton Sr. both of Hazel Green, Alabama; five stepchildren; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Edith (Harold) Mitchell, Gladys (Bill) Vernon all of Hazel Green, Alabama and Rachel (Wendell) Kelly of Huntsville, Alabama; brother, Larry (Gloria) Sharp of Spring Hill, Florida; and many nieces and nephews who loved her so much.

Funeral services were Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023, at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Linda Davis officiating. Burial followed in McClure Cemetery.
