Peggy O’Neal Terry, 73, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023, at Donalson Care Center in Fayetteville,

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Miller officiating. Burial followed at Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens.

Peggy was born on Dec. 18, 1949, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late John Robert O’Neal and Frances Josephine Liggett O’Neal. She enjoyed crafting, studying the Bible, and was an avid reader. Mrs. Terry loved caring for children and was known as Peppie to them.

Survivors include her sons, Robby (Monica) Williams, and Lee (Sonya) Williams; grandchildren, Cole Williams, Abby Williams, Ty Williams, Gavin Williams, and Hannah Thornton; sister, Jan (Danny) Lane; brother, Johnny (Andrea) O’Neal; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Terry; and a nephew, Brian Lane.
