Judy Ann Edwards, 75, of Elora, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023, at her residence.

She was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on Dec. 29, 1947, to the late James Marvin and Dorothy Jeans Jones Jacks. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two special cousins, Johnny Ray Brumlow and Jenny Jacks Bumgardner. Mrs. Edwards was a media specialist with the Lincoln County Board of Education and was a member of the Baptist Church.

Mrs. Edwards is survived by her husband of 46 years, Johnny Edwards; one daughter, DeeDee (Paul) Neal; one sister, Janice (Lynn) Chiles; one brother, Jimmy (Debbie) Jacks; three grandchildren, Gabrielle (Jarred) Timok, Jurnee Neal and Lily Neal; three nieces, Katie (Justin) Bevels, Jamie Chiles, Jeanna Lee (Clay) Thomas; nephew, Adam (Shuree) Jacks; three great-nieces, Elisabeth Bevels, Abby Jacks and Kate Cordes; five great-nephews, Wesley Jacks, Caden Jacks, Miles Cordes, Starke Thomas and John Holt Thomas and lifelong friends, Alice Dominic and Ronnie Humphrey.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Jimmy Jacks and the Rev. David Baker officiating. Burial followed in Elora Cemetery.
