George Thomas Jones, 76, of Schnecksville, Pennsylvania, died Saturday, July 15, 2023, after a long battle with cancer.

George retired from Pennsylvania Power & Light as a VP of nuclear engineering at age 60. He is predeceased by parents, Albin Oscar and Katherine Jenny (Pickett); sister, Betty Whitten, and brother, Jack Jones. Survivors include wife, Annita Baker Jones; son, Albin Lee Jones, daughter-in-law, Monique and children, Corwin, Deirdre and Grayson, all of Half Moon Bay, California: daughter, Soapy Jones, son-in-law, Erik and child, Aidan, all of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; two sisters, Nancy Cyr of Maryland and Ruby Bales (Emory) of Virginia; a brother, William Jones (Rebecca) of Tennessee; his cat, Jasmine; as well as many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and friends.

There will be no services. His remains will be cremated and scattered according to his wishes.
