Mary Margaret Womack, 75, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Huntsville Hospital.

She was born on Oct. 6, 1947, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, daughter of the late Roy Scott and Nannie Louise Edmonson Scott. She was a former employee of Serbin Manufacturing, the Blue Ridge Shirt Plant and Dixie Metalcraft.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny L. Womack and brothers-in-law, Joe Earl Farmer and Roger Robinson.

Mrs. Womack is survived by her daughters, Shelley (James) Letinich of Pascagoula, Mississippi, Carman (Andy) Mullins of Fayetteville, Tennessee, and Marsha (Mike) Bain of Madison, Alabama; grandchildren, Ashley (Brandon) Kirby, Zack Mullins and Madison Womack; great grandchildren, Sadie Mullins, Jett Mullins and Emily Grace Kirby; sisters, Glennis (Fred) Cole of Madison, Alabama, Linda Farmer of Flintville, Tennessee, Nancy Robinson of Fayetteville, Tennessee, Renea DeMarco of Pulaski, Tennessee, and Teresa Scott of Flintville, Tennessee; and brother, Lynn (Marcella) Scott of Fayetteville, Tennessee.

Graveside services and burial were held Monday, April 17, 2023, in Gum Springs Cemetery.
