Tommie Ray Brown, 74, of Flintville, Tennessee, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023.

He was born Nov. 15, 1948, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, to the late George Copeland Brown and Jessie Mae Taylor Brown. He was a veteran of the United States Army and worked in the construction industry for many years. He enjoyed working in the yard, mowing, and loved driving his old blue truck and listening to classic oldies.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Joan Brown; brothers, Joe E. Brown, Daniel Brown and George ‘Junior’ Brown; and daughter-in-law, Amanda Brown.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jill Brown; daughters, Angela (Jeff) Davis and Monica (Richard) Conner; sons, Chris Brown and George (Sunny) Brown; grandchildren, Daniel Davis, Lilly Brown, Angel Davis, Coby Stonebreaker, Destiny Brown, Christopher Brown, Bella Conner, Olivia Conner and Tinsley Brown; great-grandchild, Chloe Davis; brother, Jackie Brown; and a host of aunts, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, Jan. 13, 2023, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. David Wayne Taylor officiating. Burial followed in Flintville Cemetery.
