Linda Faye Johnson, 78, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, Jan. 2, 2023, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee.

She was born Feb. 14, 1944, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, daughter of the late Bunyan Bryant Towry and Clara Odell Dangerfield Towry. She worked in the banking industry and was a member of the West End Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Marlyn Ramsey; brother, Paul Towry; and daughter-in-law, Angela Johnson.

Ms. Johnson is survived by her daughter, Lisa Ann Dennis/Harwell of Springfield, Tennessee; sons, Christopher Clay (Jennifer) Johnson of Petersburg, Tennessee, Adam Lee (Lisa) Johnson and James ‘Jamie’ Bryant (Jamie) Johnson, both of Fayetteville, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Benjamin Caleb Harwell, Joshua Adam Johnson, Megan (Troy) Newgent, Courtney Posey, and Kelsey Posey.

A celebration of life service was held Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at the West End Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Johnson officiating. Burial followed in Rose Hill Cemetery.
