Darryl Lee Pa ulus, 42, homeless, was charged with two counts of child abuse, neglect, endangerment eight years or less and a violation of an order of protection/restraining order. He was held on $50,000 bond. K9 Officer Trent Layman made the arrest.
Justin Cole Honey, 44,1600 block West Washington Street, was charged with a probation violation. He was released on his own recognizance. Deputy Sam Smiley was the arresting officer.
Aaron Brant Short, 50, 30 block Wright Road, was charged with two counts of violating probation. He was held for court. Sgt. Nathan Maynard made the arrest.
Shane Douglas Howell, 53, 20 block Teal Hollow Drive, was charged with allowing a dog to run at large. He was released on his own recognizance. Deputy Jace LaFevers was the arresting officer.

Taylor Jordan Wiggins, 23, homeless, was charged with failure to appear and vandalism up to $1,000. He was held on $1,000 bond. K9 Officer Bailey Cowan made the arrest.
Anthony Scott Howard, 38, 50 block Solomon Road, was charged with driving while in possession of methamphetamine, driving on a revoked license, meth manufacturing, delivery, sale and possession with intent, possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia uses and activities and a probation violation. K9 Officer Jacob Clark was the arresting officer.
Kandi Lou Aderholt, 23, 50 block Solomon Road, was charged with felony fugitive from justice. She was held for court. Deputy Odin Aesir made the arrest.
Malcom Fredrick Wiley Jr., 67, 1600 block Huntsville Highway, was charged with a probation violation. He was released on his own recognizance. Sgt. Nathan Simmons was the arresting officer.

The sheriff’s office received a report of an attempted breakin to a business on Huntsville Highway in Park City. A window was broken, but no entry was made. Sgt. John Nichols was the reporting officer.

James William Crowell, 55, 100 block West Prospect Road, was charged with driving on a revoked license. He was released on $2,000 bond. State Trooper Keidrick Williams was the arresting officer.
Horachio Reynada-Zapata, 32, 3300 block Avery Avenue, Huntsville, Alabama, was charged with introducing contraband into a penal facility, driving without a license, DUI, a violation of the open container law and simple possession/ casual exchange. He was held on $14,000 bond. State Trooper Danny Bryant made the arrest.
The sheriff’s office received a report of a tractor fire that occurred at a Honey Road residence. The homeowners extinguished the fire. Deputy Jace LaFevers was the reporting officer.
A mailbox vandalism on Camargo Road was reported to the sheriff’s office. Another mailbox was damaged but not reported. Deputy Caleb Slone was the reporting officer.
Police received a report of an attempted scam on Facebook Marketplace of an Ardmore Highway resident. Sgt. Doug Allen was the reporting officer.
April 25
Opalinda Elizabeth Wilcox, 35, 1700 block Winchester Highway, was charged with domestic assault. She was released on $4,500 bond. Patrolman Derek Jordan was the arresting officer.
Ethan Dean Chapman, 34, 800 block Meadow Street, Lewisburg, was charged with domestic assault and a violation of a no contact order. He was held on $2,500 bond. Patrolman Isaiah Poulsen made the arrest.
Jame Michael Wooten Sr., 54, 300 block Helen Street, Tullahoma, was charged with driving on a revoked license. He was released on $2,500 bond. State Trooper Keidrick Williams was the arresting officer.

The sheriff’s office received a report that a Slate Rock Mill Road resident was contacted by a scammer stating they were with Verizon. The caller stated that their account had been hacked and they needed to move their money into a bank account provided by the caller. Deputy Sam Smiley was the reporting officer.
A Derby Drive resident reported to the sheriff’s office that a fake Facebook account was created using her name and photo. The scammer had contacted people the victim knew and was asking for money. Deputy Sam Smiley was the reporting officer.

Police received a report of harassment by Hatcher Drive residents concerning dogs. Patrolman Dalton Henderson was the reporting officer.
