Leadership transition underway at Crossroads Pregnancy Clinic

Staff reports
A leadership transition is underway at Crossroads Pregnancy Clinic, as Amanda Curtis, founder and executive director, announces she is stepping down from her role and passing the baton to Mary Beth Jenkins.
Curtis, who founded Crossroads Pregnancy Clinic in 2019, shared the news with supporters in a heartfelt message refl ecting on the ministry’s beginnings and growth. What began as a step of faith has become a source of hope and transformation for countless individuals and families in the community, she said.
“As I reflect on these past years, I am filled with gratitude for the memories we have made together,” Curtis said. “From the very beginning, this journey was both uncertain and deeply meaningful — stepping away from the familiar to follow a calling to build something new.”
During her tenure, Curtis emphasized the impact of the clinic’s mission, noting the many lives that have been touched through its services. She also expressed deep appreciation for the organization’s supporters and staff.
“I am especially grateful to each of our generous donors who made this God-sized dream a reality,” she said. “Because of your support, lives have been saved and changed here at Crossroads. I am confident they will continue to be for years to come.”
Curtis also highlighted the dedication of the clinic’s team, describing them as “the most compassionate and caring group of people” she has had the privilege to work alongside.
Stepping into the role of executive director is Mary Beth Jenkins, who brings both leadership experience and a longstanding connection to the organization. Jenkins has served on the Crossroads board since 2021, including two years as Board Chairman, and more recently worked as a Client Advocate.
“I am honored to serve as the new executive director of Crossroads Pregnancy Clinic,” Jenkins said. “While I am new to this role, I am not new to Crossroads.”
Jenkins began her professional career as a school counselor, serving for 13 years, before transitioning into a youth director role for more than five years. She described her path to Crossroads as one guided by faith and a passion for helping others feel valued and seen.
“With a heart and passion to help people and make them feel loved and seen, I feel called and equipped to serve in this role,” she said.
In her remarks, Jenkins expressed gratitude for Curtis’ leadership and the foundation she leaves behind.
“I am both honored and humbled to follow in the footsteps of Amanda Curtis. They are big shoes to fill,” Jenkins said. “Through her leadership and vision, God has used her to create a beautiful ministry where every person who walks through the doors is seen, valued, and loved.”
Looking ahead, Jenkins emphasized her desire to continue the clinic’s mission of building meaningful relationships and supporting individuals with compassion and dignity. She also invited community members to connect with the organization through upcoming open house events and outreach opportunities.
“I look forward to meeting more of you and partnering together in this ministry,” she said.
As Crossroads Pregnancy Clinic enters this new chapter, both Curtis and Jenkins expressed confidence in the organization’s future and its continued impact on the community.
