Museum Association board receives State grant to inventory contents of 100 year-old Borden Milk Plant building
The Fayetteville-Lincoln County Museum and Event Center is celebrating America’s 250th anniversary and is planning for the 100 years of the Borden Milk Plant building, which houses the museum, in June 2027. The Museum Association board oversees the museum. Current board members include James Patterson, president, John Woodall, advisor, Mark Mitchell, treasurer, Eugene Ham, Jim Hannah, Sandy Law, Heather McCormick, events manager, Dean Cornelius, Farris Beasley, John Penney, Amelia Webb, secretary, LaGay Horton, Debbie Yorba, Gina Minnis, and Bob Stidfole, advisor. Music in the Park gets underway May 28

Community celebrates ‘White Dog Mural’ in downtown Fayetteville
Representative from South Central Tennessee Tourism Association (SCTTA), Department of Tourism Development, Do More Art (DMA) nonprofit organization, The Tennessee Whiskey Trail, Fayetteville Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce and others gathered recently for a celebration of Fayetteville’s largest, permanent mural, “White Dog and the Spirit of the Process.” Artist Megan Lingerfelt was tasked by DMA of Tullahoma to create Fayetteville’s whimsical mural.
