Elmina “Moody” Smith Cribbs, 84, of Flintville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, Jan. 23, 2026, at Donalson Care Center. She was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on March 15, 1941, to the late Altie Smith. She was a former restaurant cook.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her daughters, Sandra Lewis, Cheryl Smith and Peggy Cross; sons, Larry Worley and Mackie Worley; sisters, Etha Mooney and Barbara Wilburn; and brother, Chuck Wilburn.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Parker of Flintville, Tennessee; sons, William Worley of Flintville, Tennessee, and Richard McDonald of Scottsboro, Alabama; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister, Faye Lamay.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Hollingsworth officiating. Burial followed in Gum Springs Cemetery.
