Teresa Lynne Honea Sajpel, 57, of Ardmore, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Sept. 20, 1967, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, to the late George Wayne Honea and Josephine Thompson Honea, who survives. Teresa worked for many years as a caregiver to the elderly, and was a beloved member of Kelly’s Creek Baptist Church in Ardmore, Tennessee.

In addition to her father, Teresa is preceded in death by her grandparents, J.D. Honea Sr. and Eleanor Honea and James (Jack) and Aline Thompson.

Teresa is survived by her husband of 33 years, Mike Sajpel; mother, Josephine Honea; sister, Angie (Lewis) Stevenson; niece, Ashley (Rex) Dunn; nephew, Trey Stevenson (Carlee Mills); great-nephew, Rudy Dunn; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Cothren officiating. Burial followed in Carter Hills Cemetery.
