Ernest Ray Davis, 77, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, at Donalson Care Center. He was born in Adrian, Michigan, on Oct. 23, 1947, to the late Ernest Downey and Mary Louise Shores Davis. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and was a mail processor at the U.S. Postal Service.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Sue Davis.

Mr. Davis is survived by his son, Anthony (Rebecca) Davis; grandchildren, Arieal Davis (Ruel Walker) and Samantha (Joseph) Davis; sisters, Nancy Price and Linda Davis; and brother, Jimmy Davis.

Funeral services for Mr. Davis were held on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Phillips officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
