Mr. J. Phillip Halcomb, 76, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, surrounded by family, at Piedmont Regional Hospital in Athens, Georgia.

Phillip was born on Dec. 14, 1948, in Fayetteville, Tennessee. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War era as a Military Police.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, April 30, 2025, in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Joe Pendergrass and Nancy Kimbrough officiating. Burial followed in Flintville Cemetery.
