Levi James Meeker — beloved son, father, brother, grandson, and friend — departed this life on Dec. 9, 2024, at the age of 22.

Services to honor his life were held on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024, at Higgins Funeral Home. Burial followed in Lebanon Cemetery.

Levi was born on July 31, 2002, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a 2021 graduate of Lincoln County High School. He worked with Terminix in Huntsville, Alabama, for about a year. Levi had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, spending his time fishing or shooting hoops on the basketball court. A curious mind, he was captivated by the mysteries of space and found joy in music. With a quiet and gentle demeanor, Levi was known as an old soul — kind, accepting, and a devoted brother.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Nova Arrell; his father, Joshua Meeker and his stepmom, Amanda; his mother, Robin Dackman and his stepdad, Jacob Dackman; his siblings, Ezekiel, Sophie, Hili, and Gilad; as well as many other extended family members and friends.

The family is being cared for by Higgins Funeral Home, who is honored to serve during this time of loss.
