Frank David Pitts, 66, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away July 18, 2024, at Huntsville Hospital after an extended illness, which he fought with dignity. His final moments were spent with family that he loved so dear by his side.

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Higgins Funeral Home with his good friend, Bro. Eddie Graves officiating. Burial followed in Kelso Cemetery.

David was born Sept. 8, 1957, in Fayetteville, Tennessee, to the late John F. Pitts, Jr. and Kathaleen Joyce Stewart Pitts. He was a 1975 graduate of Fayetteville Central High School and a member of Kelso Cumberland Presbyterian Church. David worked as a PTAC Specialist at Daikin for many years. He loved music, history, and traveling and was an avid University of Tennessee football fan.

Survivors include his brothers, Doug Pitts, Ray Pitts and wife Cathy; sister, Flo Lewter and husband Bill; brother-in-law, Tony Caldwell; 10 nieces and nephews and 20 great-nieces and nephews; dear friend and caregiver, Clara Crowell; lifelong friends, Mike Ingle, Randy Smith, and JR Cunningham; many extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Marie Caldwell; and niece, Donna Christine Caldwell.
