Judy Dyer Ellis, age 77, of Petersburg, Tennessee, passed away May 31, 2024, at Bailey Manor in Fayetteville.

Graveside services were held Monday, June 3, 2024, at Old Orchard Cemetery with Bro. Doug Watt officiating. Visitation with the family was held with the family on Monday at Higgins Funeral Home.

Judy was born May 25, 1947, in Marshall County, Tennessee, to the late John M. and Cherie Widner Dyer. She worked in human resources for Teledyne Brown in Huntsville, Alabama, for many years and was of the Methodist faith. Judy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Survivors include her sons, Tim Ellis and wife Sonya, Keith Ellis and wife Kim; grandsons, Will Ellis, Jonathan Ellis, and Justin Ellis; and brother, John Dwight Dyer and wife Donna. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Ellis; and grandson, Edward P. “Ed” Ellis.
