Hilda Steelman, 85, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023, at Lincoln Medical Center. She was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on April 25, 1938, to the late Obie and Beulah Shelton Warren. Mrs. Steelman worked in dietary services at Lincoln Medical Center and was a member of the Mimosa Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Steelman is survived by her husband of 67 years, Pete Steelman; three daughters: Tressa (Stanley) Honey, Debbie (Larry) Cawthon, and Tina (Tracey) Allen; two sons: Lewis (April) Steelman and Bobby (Renee) Steelman; three sisters: Joyce (Donald) Dunivan, Nell Norman, and Darlene Kaplan; one brother: Bob Warren; 13 grandchildren: Amanda (Chad) Logan, Michael (Kelly) Honey, J.W. (Jenny) Brown, Kaycee (Garrett) Valcourt, Justin (Rachel) Steelman, Jennifer (Justin) Norris, Nick (Lyndsey) O’Neal, Kate Lynn O’Neal, Nathan Allen, Brady Moore, Hailey (Dustin) Casteel, Erika (Mitch) Porter, Madison Steelman (Jason Case); and 21 great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 17, 2023, at Booneville Cemetery with James West officiating.
