Carl Randall Gardner, 74, of Elora, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023, at his residence. He was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on Sept. 19, 1949, to the late Albert and Inez Howard Gardner. He worked as a Boilermaker for the TVA. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gardner was preceded in death by his wife, Pam Gardner; one daughter, Kimberly Norton; one stepson, Don Owens and one brother, Albert Gardner Jr.

Mr. Gardner is survived by one daughter, Kelly (Chad) Shelton; one son, Ryan (Ashley) Gardner; one step-daughter, Jennifer (Paul) Whitsett; one step-son, Dustin (Donna) McCool; one sister, Cheryl Slayton; six grandchildren, Zackary (Courtney) Brown, Shawn (Samantha) Mason, Karlee (Eric) Norton, Allison (Kaleb) Floyd, Katie (William) Arnold and Chase Gardner; nine step-grandchildren, Briana Basham, Brandon Laster, Harley Qualls, Jordaan Shaddy, J.R. Owens, Bethany Butner, Sessili Owens, Johnathon Rollins, and Justice McCool; and eight great-grandchildren, Zackary Brown, Jeremiah Whitehouse, Onyxx Mason, Luka Norton, Kaden Greenleaf, Kyla Greenleaf, Willow Arnold and Haysen Arnold.

Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 13, 2023, at the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Pastor Carol Holt officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
