Jake Robert Neely, 36, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away Friday, Oct. 27, 2023, in Limestone County, Alabama.

A life celebration was held Monday, Oct. 30, 2023, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Johnson officiating.

Jake was born on April 10, 1987, in Huntsville, Alabama, to Bobby and Jeanie Neely. He was a 2006 graduate of Lincoln County High School and served on the Molino Volunteer Fire Department. Jake enjoyed working on cars, deer hunting, and he was a member of the West End Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Bobby and Jeanie Neely; daughter, Lydia Faith Rose Neely; brother, Jason Neely and wife, Nicole; paternal grandmother, Pauline Neely; maternal grandmother, Naomi Key; and nieces and nephews, Madison Merritt, Dylan Neely, Eliza Neely, Rylan Neely, Grace Williams, and Sawyer Neely. Jake was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Earl Neely; and maternal grandfather, Norman David Key.
