Leon Hayes Parks Jr., 75, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, at Donalson Care Center.

He was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on Feb. 17, 1948, to the late Leon Hayes and Hazelene Freeman Parks. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Elenor Parks and one sister, Gwendolyn Parks. He was a security officer for AEDC, a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Church of God.

Mr. Parks is survived by two sons, Tony (Michelle) Parks and Brandon (Brandi) Bass; two sisters, Jewell Dockery and Jean (Joe) Webb; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 23, 2023, at the Church of God on Market Street with Elder Stephen Harvey officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant View Cemetery.
