James “Jim” Ronald Stanly, 81, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Jim was born on July 25, 1942, in Simpson, Louisiana, to the late James Calvin Stanly and Sadie Jane Jackson Stanly. He served in the US Army and worked for Goodman.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Stanly; daughter, Rhonda Stanly Roberts and her children, Jessica (Gary) Payne, Victoria Campbell, and Rylee Campbell; daughter, Tracy (Andy) Davis and their children, Drew (Amber) Davis, and Trevor (Alexas) Davis; son, Ron (Jennifer) Stanly and their children, Luke (Sara) Stanly, and Sarah (Andrew) Barton all of Fayetteville, TN; 8 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Anna Smith of Simpson, LA.

A graveside service was held Monday, Sept. 4, 2023, at Higgins Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens with Bro. Randy Nichols officiating.
