Shirley Ann Weir, 80, of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023, at Elk River Health and Nursing Center. She was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on July 31, 1943, to the late Roy Clay and Annie Nell Dodson Howard. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Melissa Weir. Mrs. Weir was a retired employee of Amana.

Mrs. Weir is survived by one daughter, Dawn Weir Syler of Mulberry, Tennessee; one son, Greg Weir of Lebanon, Tennessee; brother, Tom (Mary Jane) Howard of Cookeville, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Fallon (Charles) Amos and Patton (Lexi) Syler both of Fayetteville; three great-grandchildren, Swayze Syler, Stratton Amos and Hanley Syler; and one aunt, Margie Joyce Dodson of Valhermoso Springs, Alabama.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2023, at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Dodson officiating. Burial followed in Morgan Cemetery.
