Jessie Pearl Harris, 96, of Meridianville, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Madison County, Alabama, on April 28, 1927, to the late Ernest and Ruby Graham Moore.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Andrew Harris; daughter, Patricia McElyea; sister, Muriel Arnold; brothers, Clifton Moore, Ernest Moore Jr., and Stanley Moore; and grandsons Henry Parkerson and Lee McElyea.

Mrs. Harris is survived by one daughter, Linda Judge of Hazel Green, Alabama; sons, James (Nancy) Parkerson of Petersburg, Tennessee and Donald (Patti) Parkerson of Fayetteville, Tennessee; sisters, Mary Waggoner, Virginia Moore and Frances (Ray) Dawson; brother, Lonnie Moore; grandchildren, Renee (Victor) Lones, Jim (Stacey) Parkerson, Ross (Lisa) Parkerson, Connie Jo (Keith) Neal, Paul (Melissa) Parkerson, and Jessie (John) Hall; great-grandchildren, Vincent (Tina) Lones, Victoria Lones, Kourtney (Damian) Linville, Kaley Miller, Ariel Neal, Dalton Parkerson, Landen Parkerson, Collin Parkerson, Melry Parkerson, Rhiannon (Scott) Payne, Josh (Anna) Hall, Julia (Steven) Rucki, Logan (Chrissy) McElyea, Waylon McElyea, and Paisleigh McElyea; great-great-grandchildren, Brynleigh Linville, Jackson Linville, Annie Lones, Ollie Lones, Delilah McElyea, Kenzleigh Johns, Emmett Hall, Emily Hall, and Holden Rucki.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday, Aug. 21, 2023, at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. Vincent Lones and Bro. Don Russell officiating. Burial followed in Charity Cemetery.
