Lois Ann Edwards, 82, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, Aug. 7, 2023, at Elk River Health and Rehab.

She was born in Minot, North Dakota on Jan.3, 1941, to the late Earl Robert and Orleatha Surprenant Griffin. She was a former employee of Cahoots Restaurant and was of the Catholic faith.

Ms. Edwards is survived by her daughters, Deniece W. Boles, Chantal Collins and Daniele Burton; son, Richard R. Burton; sisters, Marilyn Mae Barros and Nancy Jean Emmett; brother, Robert Earl Griffin; grandchildren, Richard Dakota (Cody) Burton, Katleyn Rae (Batson) Barnes and Cory Douglas Batson; great-grandchildren, Tavarius Barnes, Creek Douglas Batson, Bryant Denney “Bear” Barnes and Cove Drake Batson.

Graveside Services were held Saturday, Aug.12, 2023, in Prospect Cemetery.
