Audie Ray Honea, 66, of Flintville, Tennessee, passed away Monday, July 31, 2023, at his residence.

He was born in Sarasota, Florida, on July 5, 1957, the son of the late Leslie Honea and Opal Straughn, who survives. He was a veteran of the US Army, an employee of Tyson Foods and enjoyed watching auto racing.

Mr. Honea is survived by his mother and stepfather, Opal and Merlin Smith; daughter, Onida Marrero; son, Nathan Honea; wife, Denise Honea; stepdaughter, Vanessa Morrison; stepsons, Alan George and Mike George; grandchildren, Lacey, Ayla, Ella, Eliel, Brynlee, RJ, Taylor, Bentley, Bella, Aribella and Emma; sisters, Nina Honea, Joletta Smith and Debbie Robinson; and brother, Jay Honea.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Aug. 10, 2023, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Murphy officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
