Alice Remona Holman, 90, of New Market, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2023, at her residence.

She was born on July 17, 1933, in Madison County, Alabama, to the late John E Maynor and Alice Allen Maynor. She was a former cafeteria worker for Madison County Schools and a member of the Plevna Holiness Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Jerry Holman; son-in-law, Kenneth Teet; and grandchildren, Eric Holman and Billy Barron

Mrs. Holman is survived by her husband, Lawrence Holman; daughter, Lisa Holman-Teet-Walters (Kenneth Walters); sons, Curtis Holman (Richlyn), Ricky Holman (Terrie), Terry Holman (Carol); daughter-in-law, Ella Ruth Holman; 26 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Aug. 13, 2023, at the Plevna Holiness Church. Burial followed in Taylor Cemetery.
