Roswell William “Bill” Nourse III, 62, of Flintville, Tennessee, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023, at Huntsville Hospital.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 3, 2023, at Higgins Funeral Home with Steven Thornton and Elder Grant Miller officiating. Burial followed in the Kelso Cemetery.

Bill was born on June 20, 1961, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Roswell William Nourse Jr. and Patricia Brucker Nourse. He was a graduate of Father Ryan High School in Nashville. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Tech University, and his master’s degree from University of Alabama in Huntsville. Mr. Nourse was president of Monte Sano Research Corporation and was of the Catholic faith. Bill loved his family dearly and especially enjoyed spending time with them at the beach. His hobbies include hiking, fishing, golfing, landscaping, and jeep riding.

Survivors include his wife, Traci Sullenger Nourse; children, Roswell William (Andrea) Nourse IV of Huntsville, Alabama, Dr. Autumn (Scott) Harris of Gainsville, Florida, Alexander (Jessica) Mann of Elora, Tennessee, Tyler (Ashley) Mann of Flintville, and Matthew Nourse of Huntsville; grandchildren, Clayton Mann, Brayden Mann, Roswell Nourse, Ainsley Harris, and Everley Mann; siblings, Lynne (Jerre) Maynor of Nashville, Carrie (Ray) Pinkston of Nashville, John (Dena) Nourse of Marshall, Texas, and Kim Nourse (Jeff Thomison) of Nashville; mother and father-in-law, Gilbert and Gail Sullenger; beloved Jack Russell, Daisey Mae; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, work family, and friends.
